The Street Committee has four members along with the Director of Public Works, Steve Hill, and Assistant Director of Streets, Scott Manchester. Current members are Jim Bodenhamer as Committee Chairman, Jennifer Baker, Susan Stockton and Carry Manuel. The Street Committee meeting is held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 720 S. Hickory St., on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 12:30 pm. The purpose of the monthly meeting is to review the previous month’s activities, including all projects and street maintenance. All questions and concerns directed to the Committee will be answered, or passed on to the Public Works Director or Assistant Street Director. Discussions include current and proposed projects along with the current budget. The meeting is open to the public. The Street Committee members also vote to send any issues to the City Council for final approval.
The next Street Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 12:30 p.m.
