CUSTOMER SERVICE
IT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN
HOME WATER/WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE ITS CUSTOMERS WITH THE BEST WATER AND SEWER SERVICE POSSIBLE AT A FAIR PRICE.

INFORMATION FOR NEW CUSTOMERS.

    •  Water Bills are rendered monthly.
    •  Meters are set and sewer connections are made between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.,
       Monday through Friday.
    •  Automatic bank draft form can be filled out and sent to the mailing address.
    •  For after hours emergencies call the Mountain Home Police Department.


IDENTIFYING WATER AND WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES
In the course of providing safe and reliable water supply, the Water Dept. employees visit homes or businesses periodically to read or change water meters, make repairs, investigate complaints, discontinue or restore service, etc. If there is any doubt about the person being a Water Dept. employee, call the office to confirm the purpose and identity of the person. As a matter of policy, Water Dept. employees DO NOT enter the customerís home. An exception to this policy may occur when a customer requests assistance in finding the causes for an unusual situation. A customer service specialist may enter a customerís home ONLY at the customerís request. Under no circumstances will a Water Dept. employee enter a customerís home when the customer is not at home.

CONTINUOUS SERVICE

The Water Dept. will strive to maintain continuous service but is not liable for loss or damage caused by interruption, delay, or failure of service. In the event of disruption of service, every reasonable effort will be made to restore service as promptly as possible.

WHILE AWAY FROM HOME (VACATION OFF / VACATION ON)

When you plan to be away for an extended period, advance payments are suggested to prevent an interruption of service. We will also disconnect your service for $25.00 and reconnect your service for $25.00 when you return, you would not be billed during this period.
