Street Committee Meeting
October 6, 2015 - 1:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order at 1:31 p.m.
Present were, Amon Tilley, Director of Streets; and Rick Pierce,
Don Webb and Carl Graves, Committee members.
The Street Report for September 2015 was reviewed.
Amon reported the Waverly Rebuild project had a cost to date of $261,651.68, the 16th Street Rebuild/Extension
project cost is at $561,911.93, and McCabe Park was at $56,505.60.
Amon said there was a need to move some money from line items to make a purchase. He showed a photo of
a scraper/grader he said he would like to purchase from Federal Surplus. Itís got 35 hours on it and has a
price of $12,500. He told the Committee that it would be very useful and would move large amounts of dirt while
building McCabe Park. He requested moving $10,000 from the Used One Ton line item (5200-43253) and the
balance of Prior Year Expenses Paid in Current Year (5200-78950), which is $12,152.84 to the Federal
Surplus/Used Equipment line item (5200-43280). Don Webb made a motion to approve transferring the money
and Carl Graves seconded the motion.

One of the Street Departmentís Caterpillar dozers was sold at Walkerís Equipment Auction this past Saturday.
Amon reported it sold for $17,000 less $350 for Walkerís fees.
